Racing the Peak
The ‘ pain on the peak’ race on Saturday was one of the first Real Cross races around here so I was really stoked to go. The conditions were hot and dry, and there was plenty of dirt (dust) the consistency of talcum powder and it was flying everywhere.
I started near the back, but was able to move into the top five fairly quickly and was doing ok until the rear blew, and that was the end of that. Turned my ankle saving myself from going down hard in a corner, but it should be okay for action next week. Guy and I had the opportunity to chat with the man Trebon a bit so it wasn’t a total loss. Better luck next time (and perhaps some pit wheels too!).

Pain On The Peak!
Well I spent my Saturday as a spectator again but it was such a beautiful course and location, Portland Velo really set up a great race!!Jesse Lopez had an awesome start sitting in third and hangin tuff only to slice open the rear tubular that he borrowed from me! Oh yeah got my Pic taken with this tall skinny guy that completely shredded the mens A field I can`t wait for my first race of the year, it`s hard to be a spectator! West Coast Guy!
The Legend Wins the 40
Nice work Jonathan Page
Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival
Joining the championship race in his first appearance will be American Jonathan Page of Oudenaarde, Belgium, a silver medalist in the 2006 World Cyclocross Championships.
Wonder if he will ride a Cross bike? I rode my Cross twice, once it was perfect, once it was not.
Ladric.
